Revival Is Here | September LG Guide 2025
LEADERSHIP THOUGHT:
Prophet Jim Laffoon recently declared that revival has begun. Current church trends across America confirm it’s already happening. Unlike past revivals, this revival is not limited to one place. It’s moving wherever the Church is ready to steward it.
The real question is not “Will God move?” but “Will we be ready?”
But here’s the key: revival isn’t random. It ignites wherever spiritual “fuel” has been faithfully stored. As leaders and coaches, we are the “doorways” to bring revival into communities and individuals. The depth, duration, and reach of this move of God will be determined by how we respond.
4 Keys to Sustaining Revival:
Prayer – Fuel for Fire
“After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly.” (Acts 4:31 NIV)
Revival always begins with prayer. It starts when God’s people become desperate and hungry for more of Him. When we stop praying, we start plateauing. The enemy always resists a move of God, but greater habits of intercession overcome his schemes.
Challenge: Attend a prayer pocket. Be more intentional in praying for revival in communities and individuals during small group and personal prayer times. Pray relentlessly for someone in your life who needs to know Jesus. Consider fasting one meal or one day together.
Purity – Clean Hands, Clear Heart
“Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord.” (Hebrews 12:14 NIV)
Our God is holy, and He calls us to reflect His holiness. We cannot host God’s fire on a polluted altar, nor can we carry His living water in dirty vessels. Revival may come with power, but it always begins with purification. Before God moves through us, He must first move in us.
Challenge: Ask God, “What needs to change in me so You can move through me?” Confess sin, repent, and invite accountability where needed.
Praise - Draw Near to God’s Presence
“Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.” (Psalm 100:4 NIV)
Praise allows us access to God’s presence. Worship shifts atmospheres and stirs revival because it welcomes heaven to invade earth. When we praise, we are not reacting to our circumstances but responding to God’s unchanging greatness. And it’s not limited to music. We praise God when we serve with joy, give with faith, and meditate on His Word. Every act of surrendered worship becomes an altar where revival can burn.
Challenge: Model genuine worship in our weekend services. Also, cultivate a lifestyle of worship in your daily life, which includes singing, serving others, and faithful generosity.
Proclamation – Don’t Keep It to Ourselves
“How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?” (Romans 10:14 NIV)
Revival must move from our hearts to our streets. When we stay silent, we settle for survival. People are hungry for hope, and we have the Bread of Life. We must be bold and share our faith with others.
Challenge: Share your story and your faith with someone this week with the goal of going through the One to One or Purpose Driven Life book. Invite someone to your group or to church. Let the group know how it went next time you meet.
DISCUSSION QUESTIONS:
Which “P” do you need to grow in the most right now—Prayer, Purity, Praise, or Proclaiming?
What change might God want to make in you for revival to go through you?
Who is someone in your life that God might be asking you to reach this week?
PRAYER POINTS:
Pray for a greater hunger for holiness in your own life and across our church.
Pray for a spirit of intercession to increase in your group.
Pray for boldness and open doors to share the gospel this week.
ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Possessing the Land:
Thank you for your incredible generosity and faith in God’s vision for our church. Because of your giving, we now have the necessary finances to purchase the land for our apostolic training center. While this is a major milestone, we are still praying and believing for a smooth closing in mid-October. If you still wish to give, future contributions will go toward paying down the loan, allowing us to invest in other campuses and mission sites.
